Homework for the week of November 19 - 23.

Book Report: 
For language there was a book report assignment sent home with each student today. This assignment is due Monday December 10th. 

Math: We are working on constructing triangles, given side lengths/angles as well as classifying triangles by its angles and by its side lengths.

Please complete the questions below by stating the type of triangle it is according to the angles it has as well as telling me why.

Homework for the week of Nov 12 - 15

REMINDER: Friday is a PD day, therefore this week's homework is due on Thursday November 15th. 

Math: 

1. Andrew is measuring a triangle. Two angles in the triangle have been measured for him and they are 85 degrees and 35 degrees. If Andrew does not have a protractor, how can he figure out the third angle? What is the measurement of the third angle? How do you know you are correct?

2. Go on an angle hunt around your kitchen. Look for right angles and acute angles. Make a list of items that have right angles and a list of items with acute angles. From your list, did you find more right angles or more acute angles?

Assessment Folder, Progress Reports, and Homework

Dear Parents/Guardians, 

This is a friendly reminder to ensure that the orange assessment folder that was sent home with your child's Progress Report is returned no later than this Monday November 5, 2018

Please also return the Progress Report envelope with the bottom portion of the report, signed, as soon as possible. 

We will begin to do some weekly homework to enrich skills being worked on in class. I will go over this next week with your child so the deadlines and expectations are understood.
