IMPORTANT RE: Communion Retreat March 28th postponed.

We received this email from the church with regard to the upcoming Communion Retreat:

Due to the announced school closures, we have decided to postpone the Communion Retreat, planned for March 28. It will now be held on April 18. If you can change the school calendar and notify the kids, I will be sending an email out to all parents as well.

Dear Parents, 

On Tuesday February 4th, the Ottawa Humane Society will be coming to the Grade 2 classes to do a presentation. Students will learn how to safely approach a dog and explore bite-prevention tips. As part of their presentation, the Ottawa Humane Society will be bringing a dog into our classroom. Please let us know if your child as any allergies, fears, or if you have any concerns.

Starting this month I will post the monthly Learning Calendars on our blog, instead of giving out a paper copy to each student. Of course, if you do require a paper copy, please ask and I will print one for your child.
